Annual Columbia Arts Guild Show and Sale -- September 18, 2010

10:00am - 5:30pm, Scappoose Library meeting room, 52469 SE 2nd, Scappoose, OR
        Art acceptance will be , September 17th from 4:00 to 7:00pm

There will be People's Choice awards of $50 gift card to Fred Meyer for first place and $25 gift card for second place.

The Walters Cultural Arts Center (WCAC) in Hillsboro, OR, invites artists working in any medium to submit workto a juried exhibition entitled Elements. Jurors are seeking examples of contemporary art that employ the use of many pieces to create the whole. Work may be abstract or representational. Wall mounted and free standing sculptural art will be considered.

The exhibition will run from December 7, 2010 –January 26, 2011.  prospectus

Alberta Arts coffee shop -- is again looking for artists for one long tall wall. Large format, non-standard art is encouraged. Art has sold off this wall. Are you available for April? How to post to your artwork to  the CAG blog:

To add your Inspirational Painting follow the directions below.

You are already in Columbia Arts Guild Blog.
Click sign in in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
eblogger dashboard screen appears.
Click new posts.
New post page appears with a title box.
Type the name of your painting or whatever you want in there.
Click the insert image box that has a teeny tiny picture in it (between Link and left margin) on the tool bar of the posting page.
Add an image box appears.
Click browse. It searches your computer and you click on the picture you want to upload
It uploads and click ok.
After your picture appears in the new posting window you can write words about it or whatever.
Then you click publish post at the bottom.
If you see mistakes you can edit your post after.
